The Hugh’s Room Live Community

Community Centre

Hugh’s Room Live is committed to enlarging its focus from a performance venue to a music-focussed community centre, and to undertake an inclusive approach to the creation of facilities and programming in our new space.

Video Library

Stay tuned to this space in the coming months for video and audio content from our extensive archive of performances. Thanks to the support of Canada Council for the Arts and their Digital Now program we’ll also be developing new content featuring iconic members of the HRL music community.

Hugh’s Room Live has operated as a not-for-profit since 2017 and has been a registered charity since 2019. Your support, at any level, one-time or monthly, is essential for us to continue bringing you the best in live music and build an open an inclusive hub for the music community. 

Toronto is located on the traditional territory of several nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. It is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit and is now home to many Nations, Métis and Inuit communities.
